THE CATHEDRAL COLLEGE NEWS WEEK 9
COLLEGE NEWS
NATIONAL CHILD PROTECTION WEEK
Dear Parents,
This week is National Child Protection Week. The overarching message is every child, in every community needs a ‘fair go’. Here at TCC, student protection and wellbeing are paramount and as part of our Catholic ethos we're continually working to create and sustain a supportive, caring and safe environment for all students. At the recent Assemblies, students were reminded of who their Student Protection Officers are and the importance of being safe, feeling safe and knowing there is always someone they can trust here at school. Please see link below.

PARENTS, HAVE YOUR SAY
The Catholic Schools Parents Australia (CSPA) are inviting you to have your say in the CSPA 2022 Parent Survey on Student Wellbeing and Learning and have extended the closing date to Sunday 11 September.
Click on the survey link below and share your feedback to assist CSPA in reporting to the Federal Government and Catholic education. Your feedback will remain anonymous. Thank you !
PARENT ENGAGEMENT DAY
NAPLAN
Dear Parents of Year 7 and 9 Students,
In the next two weeks, students will receive their NAPLAN results in an envelope to bring home. For boarding families, a copy will be posted.
The national test results represent a snapshot of a student’s achievement at a particular point in time. They are but one form of assessment used to measure students’ development and should be considered in relation to other aspects of school assessment. We are very pleased with the academic progress of our students.
Further information about NAPLAN is available on the following website: www.naplan.edu.au If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
