REAL TALK

Next week students in Year 7-10 will be involved in personal development sessions.  These will be presented by Real Talk.  Real Talk is an organisation that gets real on the topics of sex, relationships and personal identity based on Catholic values.

Real Talk’s seminars are an opportunity for young people to hear from specifically trained outside presenters about important topics.  The aim is to empower students to make healthy choices that show respect for themselves and others.  For further information, please visit Real Talk’s website: Real Talk (realtalkaustralia.com)

Parents and students will receive a detailed letter with specific information pertaining to the seminars tomorrow. Please note, on Monday and Tuesday the sessions will be held at the Rockhampton Leagues Club from 8.45am – 2.30pm. Students will have the option of getting dropped off and picked up from the Rockhampton Leagues Club or coming to the College as per normal and our College bus will transport students to and from the venue (as per normal school times). Students will be able to wear free dress and morning tea and lunch will be provided.  This only applies to the Year 7 and Year 9 students.  On Wednesday the Year 8 and 10 students will be required to wear their formal College uniform and bring their lunch or purchase from the Cafe.
