NAPLAN (YEAR 7 & 9)
NAPLAN testing has started well with Year 7 and Year 9 students completing Reading (Tuesday) and Writing (today). Thursday and Friday will be Conventions of Language and Numeracy, respectively. Please remind your son/daughter if they are participating in NAPLAN, to bring wired headphones to the test sessions and to ensure they are charging their laptop at home.
If your son/daughter has missed or will miss a test session and you would like them to catch up, please advise me via email or by phoning College Reception by Friday 3:00pm. These sessions will be offered on Monday and Tuesday during school hours.

CURRICULUM
YEAR 11 EXAM BLOCK
All Year 11 students have an exam block on Monday 16 May and Tuesday 17 May. Students do not attend school unless they have an exam. They can return home after their exam.
A study area will be available upstairs in the Library for students that need to stay at school after an exam or between exams.
Normal timetabled classes recommence on Wednesday 18 May and all students are expected to be in attendance.
YEAR 10 PARENT SESSION
The Year 10 Parent Session relating to Subject Selection for Year 11 in 2023 will be an online video presentation through our College website made available on Monday 23 May. A letter will be emailed to all parents soon with further details.

The Non State Schools Transport Assistance Scheme assists eligible families with the cost of travelling to school, with applications for Semester 1 2022 now open online and closing on 31 May.
Please visit www.SchoolTransport.com.au to check if you are eligible and to apply. The Closing date is 31 May for Semester 1 travel and late applications will not be accepted.
