THE CATHEDRAL COLLEGE NEWS WEEK 4
COLLEGE NEWS
COMMUNITY OF FAITH
During the month of October the College focuses on supporting the work of Catholic Mission through Socktober. Socktober challenges each PC to raise money and grow in awareness of the difficulties experienced in developing countries. Each PC is asked to collect donations in a sock and to enter the soccer ball challenge this Friday with soccer balls made by students from recycled materials. Thank you to our 12 parents for their $300 contribution to the Catholic Mission collected at the Farewell Mass last week.
In outreach, students from Quinn, Ryan and Wallace Houses have had the opportunity to spend time with the elderly at Benevolent Living Retirement and Care Home sharing time together participating in activities.
On Saturday evening we celebrated TCC Parish Mass together and farewelled our Year 12 students involved in the Liturgy Committee and Music Ministry.
We remember in our prayers our Year 12 students who are currently sitting their ATAR exams, that the Holy Spirit will be with them in wisdom and knowledge.
Students, staff and families are invited to join us for Thursday morning Mass at 8am in the Cathedral.
