COMMUNITY NOTICES
LIVING THROUGH COVID YOUTH SURVEY
Cheryl Vardon Principal Commissioner ,Queensland Family & Child Commission is seeking the input by Queensland young people who have been affected by the COVID pandemic over the last 18 months and is interested in knowing how young people have coped with this.
The survey focuses on lockdowns and asks young people about how they would like government and community leaders to cater for and communicate with them during the pandemic.
The results of the survey will be used to influence government and community groups who provide services, funding and support. The Commission wants to gather useful information and ideas now in order to affect the decisions they are making about the future and ensure the needs of young people are taken into account.
If you feel that your child would have something to contribute and is interested in participating in the survey, please direct them to the link below.
The Living through COVID youth survey is available for young people aged 13 – 18 until Sunday 31 October 2021. Young people can access the survey by visiting www.qfcc.qld.gov.au/living-through-covid.
Cheryl Vardon has arranged for Ms Kirby Orr, Director, Advocacy, Media and Engagement to be available to answer any questions. Kirby can be contacted on 0434 683 265 or via kirby.orr@qfcc.qld.gov.au
