PASTORAL CARE
At The Cathedral College the Pastoral Care of students is a primary concern and in this spirit of educational partnership we extend to you an invitation to participate in two upcoming webinars.
1. Building Mentally Health Kids
In Week 1 Term 4, Thursday 7 October 7 - 8pm, Clinical Psychologist, Family Therapist, Author and Speaker Andrew Fuller presents 'Building Mentally Healthy Kids'. This webinar, sponsored by Catholic Schools Parents Queensland will cover Resilience, Friendship and Relationship skills, Neurochemistry and parenting, Parenting tricky kids, Creating happy kids, Building self-esteem and dealing with setbacks.

2. Brave Parenting
In Week 2 on Thursday 14 October, 7.30pm the College together with Your Choicez will be hosting the BRAVE Parenting Web Event. Join us to hear David & Katie Kobler, youth experts who have spoken to over 250,000 teens, parents and teachers about big topics like sex, consent, pornography and sexting. They will discuss the impact young people face growing up in a hypersexualised society and the incredible opportunity you have in helping shape your child to have a healthy understanding of sex, dating and relationships.
