CONGRATULATIONS FR ASHWIN
Last week Fr Ashwin Acharya was ordained a priest by Bishop Michael McCarthy in St Joseph's Cathedral. This was a special occasion for our Diocese. Some of our students were involved in Music Ministry, Altar Serving and Catering. The College community wishes Fr Ashwin the very best.

CURRICULUM
REPORTS
Semester 1 Academic Reports for Years 7 – 10 will be available on the afternoon of Friday 25 June via Parent Lounge. There will be a link on how to make appointments for Parent/Teacher interviews in the Report.
Parent/Teacher interviews for all Year levels will take place on Monday 12 July from 3.30pm – 6.30pm in the Mercy Centre. Please book via Parent Lounge.

Last week we had several teams across a variety of sports compete in Grand Finals with several winning the premierships.
QLD TOUCH TEAM SELECTIONS
Recently several of our Touch Players were selected to the Queensland Schools' Touch teams following state championships. Congratulations Flynn Kelso, Jardel Bob, Tana Martin, Curtis Seierup, Sam Penrose, Hannah Jenkins, Olivia Jenkins, Dominque Saunders and Zoe Robson on your selection to the Merit team.

CONFRATERNITY AND QISSN
In the first week of the school holidays three of our teams will be representing the College in Rugby League and Netball at two state sports carnivals - the Queensland Confraternity Carnival and the 2021 CQUniversity QISSN Carnival For the first time there will be a Girls competition played within Confraternity and our girls will be there!
