YEAR 7 - 12 PARENT INFORMATION EVENING TUESDAY 9 FEBRUARY
5PM Year 7 – 9 (Middle School)
Commencing at 5pm in your Child’s Core classroom, Principal Rob Alexander and Assistant Principal: Middle School Students Karen Lester will address all Core classes via Microsoft Teams. This will be followed by a presentation by your child’s Core Teacher delivering important information to help you best support your child on their educational journey. Student Leaders will be at the school to help you find your child’s classroom.

5.45PM Year 10 – 12 (Senior School)
Commencing at 5.45PM in the Library, Year Level Coordinators and Assistant Principal: Curriculum, Mrs Mallory will deliver important information to help you best support your child on their educational journey through their Senior school years. Topics to be covered include Subject Selection, Pathways for University and Employment, Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) system and any questions you may have.

YEAR 7 INFORMATION
Year 7 Core Class Connect Day & Year 7 House Day
On Monday, Year 7 students received a letter with important information regarding their upcoming Year 7 Core Class Connect Day and House Day. The information included the Permission/Medical form and Behaviour Contract. These forms need to filled out, signed and returned to Student Counter by Friday 5 February and Payment needs to be completed via Parent Lounge, detailed in the letter emailed home. Thank you for your assistance.
Immunisation
A reminder to Year 7 parents that Immunisation Forms are to be returned by Wednesday 10 February to the College Office. If another copy of the form is required, students can collect them from the Student Reception.

COMMUNITY OF FAITH
This Friday the College will celebrate our Opening Liturgy of the Word in the JM covered area. Year 12s and their guests will be present for the Liturgy and will have received booking information. At this Liturgy all staff and students will be commissioned for the year ahead. Leaders and Seniors badges will also be blessed and distributed. The Liturgy will be livestreamed to the rest of the College and others are welcome to watch via the link that will be on the News and Events tab on the website.

CURRICULUM
The Academic Awards Assemblies for Semester 2, 2020 are being held on Monday 8 February. Parents are welcome to attend this event and are required to sign in. Entry is via the deck at the back of the Mercy Centre. Both assemblies will also be live streamed.
