TCC GIVING TREE

The College's annual Giving Tree Assembly, coordinated by Wallace House, is on this Friday 4 October.  This is an opportunity for our whole College community to extend the hand of kindness to families in need by supporting St Vinnies' Christmas Hamper Appeal.

Students and staff are invited to donate from the following list: Cash, Gift and Food vouchers | Christmas Decorations and Bon Bons | Christmas Snacks - chips, nuts, lollies etc | Soft drinks, Cordials and Pantry items | Christmas treats - Puddings, Cakes, long-life custard, jelly sachets.  Please no chocolate or chocolate biscuits.

Members of Rockhampton's St Vincent De Paul Society will prepare and deliver the Hampers from donations collected so as all families can have a Merry Christmas this year.  Thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness as we join together with the St Vincent De Paul Society to spread some happiness this Christmas.

Mr Kevin Chopping - Wallace House Dean

CONTAINERS FOR CHANGE

Families, you're invited to get behind the College's 'Containers for Change' to support Sr Cecilia's work in the Woorabinda Ministry. During the month of Rockhampton bring in your aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles with the 10c mark displayed and together we can make a positive impact.  Students can deposit in the blue bins around the college, alternatively please deliver to the Bus Shed in the Derby Street.

SEMESTER 2 ACER TESTING

Years 7-10 students will participate in ACER testing in Week 3 as per the schedule below.

PAT data is very valuable to teachers in identifying students’ strengths and weaknesses in Maths and Reading. It is important all students do their best to give accurate data. This round of testing can also provide insight into students’ growth in Maths and Reading for the academic year.

Test results will be reported to families on students’ Semester 2 report card.
