Letter Chief Health Officer Influenza Vaccination

Year 10 Immunisation Clinic

In 2024, Year 10 students will have the opportunity to receive immunisation against Meningococcal ACWY and Meningococcal B (2 Doses) through the National Immunisation Program. Information and consent packs were sent home earlier in the year to families.

The clinic will take place next Tuesday 13th August. Students who have returned forms, and are receiving shots, will be withdrawn from normal classes for a short period of time to attend the clinic, set up at Boys Boarding.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Immunisation clinic, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Mr Bryan Gaukroger - Assistant Principal - Students

TCC DAY

Friday 9 August

TCC Day is when we celebrate our College community.  It is a fun day where students participate in activities that highlight our College’s unique character and essence.  We expect all students to attend. It is a Free Dress Day for a $2 Coin donation for Cancer Research.  Students have been informed they must wear modest clothing, closed in shoes and a hat.

We look forward to sharing this day with all members of our community.

Mr Tim Murphy - Assistant Principal: Middle School

PARENT ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Parent Engagement Session – The Resilience Shield

This week we welcomed Dr Dan Pronk from the Resilience Shield to the College for the Teachers Twilight Professional Development and Parents Engagement session.   The feedback from Dr Dan's presentation has been very positive from both staff and parents. A link to the recording will be emailed to all parents later this week.

YEAR 9 SURVIVOR CAMP

This year the Year 9 students will be attending an Outdoor Education Camp at Ferns Hideaway to enhance the holistic (physical, social, emotional and spiritual) development of our students.

There will be two (2) camps this year to cater for the Year 9 cohort.

Camp 1:

Year 9 Boys camp

Sunday 8 September – Tuesday 10 September

Camp 2:

Year 9 Girls camp

Tuesday 10 September – Thursday 12 September

The theme of the camp is TCC Survivor with the aim of providing all students the opportunity to experience new and exciting activities in a safe, yet challenging environment. Survivor challenges will involve students working with House group members to complete a variety of activities. Camp activities include: camping, basic outdoor survival skills, canoeing, bushwalking, swimming, team building and problem solving.

Please find below a Camp Information Letter and the relevant Permission Forms. Payment must be made through Parent Lounge and forms completed and returned to the office by Friday 23August.

Year 9 students will receive hard copies of the forms and more specific details on group selections, tents/bedding, clothing and food requirements in the coming days.

If you a have any questions/concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at the College.
