As has been a long established tradition, all TCC students are encouraged to represent the College at the ANZAC Day March and/or Dawn Service to remember and give thanks for the many men and women who fought to protect us and our way of life and all those who have given service to our country.

DOES YOUR CHILD NEED ASSISTANCE WITH IMPROVING THEIR READING?
Reading is an important skill for people of all ages. At TCC, we prioritise reading a variety of texts everyday to prepare students to be experts in the subjects they study.
Griffith University are offering free weekly tutoring sessions (online, for 6 months) to students aged 8-14, commencing soon.

SENIOR ORATORY
Last night TCC’s top speakers competed in the Senior Oratory Competition passionately speaking on a range of important social issues which made for an entertaining and thought-provoking night for the audience and our adjudicators.
Students showed they had thoroughly researched their topics, were well-rehearsed and performed their speeches at an exceptionally high level. Adjudicators echoing this sentiment in their address before announcing the winners last night.
Congratulations to all our speakers who presented at the competition and to our year level winners.
Year 10 Winner: Charlotte
Year 10 Runner Up: Honey
Year 11 Winner: Sydney
Year 11 Runner Up: Addison
Year 12 Winner: Chelsea
Year 12 Runners Up: Taitum, Felix, Angelina and Brooke.

PARTY IN THE PARK
Soak up the beautiful April weather trackside at the Party in the Park, hosted by The Cathedral College, Sunday 28 April. Located undercover in the betting ring enclosure, the Party in the Park offers a relaxed atmosphere whilst enjoying reserved table seating and beautiful food.

Prepare to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Beef Week 2024, a gathering like no other where the pulse of the livestock industry beats strong! As the excitement mounts, we invite you to join us in this exhilarating celebration of community, innovation and everything beef-related.
This year we are excited to announce that we will be hosting a vibrant trade site in the Robert Schwarten Pavillion. While you are at Beef Week be sure to stop by for a chat.
During the week, we will also be opening our doors for exclusive Boarding Tours where prospective families can wander through our modern facilities, witness the warmth of our community and envision the possibilities that await within the walls of our College.
