This Friday evening we will be celebrating the academic achievements of our students at our Academic Awards evening. This celebration of academic excellence will commence at 5pm in the Mercy Centre. MEGT Visit
The Careers Office are excited to announce that on Tuesday 31 October we will be hosting an MEGT professional who specialises in job search techniques, resume writing and cover letters. The session will be held in L7 at 3.15 - 4pm. We urge all Year 11 and 12 students to attend.

2024 Next Step Year 12 Completers Survey
A reminder that our Year 12 students will be invited to participate in the Next Step Year 12 Completers survey starting in March 2024. The short confidential survey will ask questions about graduates’ activities since finishing school, like study and work.
Graduates can expect to be invited to the survey via a letter from the Minister for Education or an email or phone call from the Queensland Government Statistician’s Office on behalf of the department. Please check your contact details are correct with your school and your learning account by logging into the student portal at https://myqce.qcaa.qld.edu.au/

On Monday night TCC celebrated the sporting achievements of our students. Congratulations to all award recipients. The Special Award recipients are:

TRY ROWING Afternoons
Any students who may be interested in learning about the sport of rowing, TCC Rowing will be offering 6 sessions of “Try Rowing” afternoons in Term 4.
The sessions will run from 3.30pm – 5.15pm at the TCC Rowing Shed at Harman Street, Wandal.

NON STATE SCHOOLS TRANSPORT ASSISTANCE SCHEME

WEARITTO TRADING HOURS JANUARY 2024
Wearitto will be extending their Saturday trading hours from 11.45am to 1.45pm in January 2024 until school goes back on 22 January. This will be Saturday 6 January, 13 January and 20 January.
- 8.30am - 4.45pm Weekdays
- 9am - 1.45pm Saturdays
From now until January their opening hours are unchanged.
- 8.30am - 4.45pm Mon-Friday
- 9am - 11.45am Saturdays
Wearitto will be open over the entire holidays with the exception of closing for Christmas on Saturday 23 December, Monday 25 December, Tuesday 26 December and also Saturday 30 December and Monday 1 January to bring the New Year in.
Wearitto encourage new students for 2024 to come in October before the January rush as they guarantee, if not washed or worn, uniforms can be brought back to be exchanged if students happen to grow over the Christmas Period right up until school starts 2024.
