RYAN HOUSE HIGH TEA THANK YOU
The clinking of china and chatter of good friends gathering resounded throughout the Mercy Centre at last week's Ryan House High Tea - a joyful hubbub which flowed as freely as the freshly brewed tea poured by our student volunteers.
Coinciding with the 150th anniversary celebrations for the Sisters of Mercy and Catholic Education Week, the High Tea was Ryan House's way to continue in the footsteps of the Sisters of Mercy and their outreach to vulnerable communities.
Ryan House Dean and Event Organiser Mrs Leonie Wanchap was overcome with appreciation for the support received.
"I would like to thank everyone who came, volunteered, bought tickets to the multi-draw raffle, contributed prizes, cash and support for the event"
"It has meant so much. Together we have nurtured compassion within our students, community and broader community, worked together on a project that cares for others, raised funds for Mercy Works Australia and have shared a wonderful afternoon together. It was very special to be a part of" she said.
