THE CATHEDRAL COLLEGE NEWS WEEK 4
COLLEGE NEWS
COMMUNITY OF FAITH

We are looking forward to welcoming our community to the Mothers’ Day Mass at 8am tomorrow (Thursay 11 May) in St Joseph’s Cathedral to celebrate the gift of mothers in our lives. Mass will be followed by morning tea in the Mercy Centre restaurant.
This weekend’s reading from the Gospel of John reminds us that even though Jesus is no longer physically present with us, the Spirit, the advocate, acts in the world today giving support to those who seek it. The readings are preparing us for the Feast of the Ascension and Pentecost that are to come.
God Bless,

Year 10 SET Plan and certificate courses
In Term 3 Year 10 students will be completing their SET plan which includes their Year 11 subject selections. Students who are looking at completing a Tafe Certificate course in 2024 are reminded that the expectation is that the student would have completed some work experience in their selected field prior to enrolment. Year 10 students have two allocated work experience days at the end of this term as well as the June/July holidays during which they can meet this expectation.
