COLLEGE NEWS

The College will be collecting pre-loved books (children/young adult/adult) to help raise money for the Woorabinda Ministry. The Woorabinda Ministry is a Catholic presence to the community of Woorabinda and an agent for reconciliation and healing. Sr Cecilia Prest mfic lives in the community and delivers this ministry, providing pastoral care and sacramental support to the people. The Ministry also provides a non-profit gift and clothing shop, an arts and craft sewing room and an adult library. Please bring your donations to the College office or Student Counter. Thank you for your generous support.
COLLEGE TOURS
The College will be hosting Tours for parents interested in enrolling their child in Year 7 2024. Please pass this onto your family and friends who may be interested and RSVP via the link provided.

NAPLAN
YEAR 7 NAPLAN PREPARATION
On Friday, Week 5, students participated in a practice session. Arrangements for the March test will be similar.
To be prepared for the March testing period, all participating Year 7 students are asked to bring their own set of wired headphones (not Bluetooth or wireless).
YEAR 9 NAPLAN PREPARATION
Year 9 core classes will be visited in the coming weeks to ensure the lockdown browser has been installed successfully on their laptops.

NAPLAN TESTING PERIOD (Year 7 & 9)
The NAPLAN testing schedule is below. In other lessons on these days, learning will occur as per students’ regular timetables.

If a student is absent for one or more of the NAPLAN tests, catch-up sessions will be available on Tuesday 21 March.
